🙏 A DAY OF PRAYER, GRATITUDE & NEW BEGINNINGS AT RUKURIRI TEA FACTORY 🍃☕️

Yesterday, on the second Monday of the month, the Rukuriri Tea Factory family came together for our usual monthly prayers and staff meeting, bringing together our Board of Directors, Management Team and staff.

The occasion was made even more special as we had the opportunity to dedicate our newly constructed modern hall/canteen, offices and Orthodox production line to God. 🙏

This was more than the dedication of new facilities—it was a moment to acknowledge that every achievement, every milestone and every new beginning is possible through God’s grace and guidance.

As Rukuriri continues to grow and embrace modernity, we remain committed to creating a better working environment, improving our operations and delivering quality teas that proudly carry the Rukuriri name.

We thank God for the journey so far, our dedicated staff, visionary leadership and, most importantly, our farmers whose hard work remains at the heart of everything we do.

May God bless our facilities, our people, our farmers and the work of our hands. May He guide us into greater achievements and a brighter future. 🙏🍃

Prune your tea bushes for healthier growth and higher productivity.
‎
‎Pruning helps maintain a manageable tea bush height while stimulating vigorous regrowth and improving yields. Properly pruned tea bushes achieve full canopy recovery within 2.5–3 months, laying the foundation for denser, higher-quality flushes in the seasons ahead.

‎The best time to prune is during the cool months of July and August, when lower temperatures reduce stress on the tea bushes and support strong, healthy regeneration.For best results, make a clean, smooth, angular cut at a height of 20 inches (50 cm) to encourage optimal regrowth.

Rukuriri Tea Factory today successfully held its Annual General Assembly (AGA), bringing together farmers, directors, management, Fairtrade representatives, committee members and stakeholders to review the factory's performance and chart the way forward.
The meeting provided an opportunity to deliberate on the minutes of the previous meeting, review financial reports and budgets, and assess the progress of various development projects implemented across the electoral areas within the Rukuriri catchment.
The assembly was attended by the Board of Directors,led by Fair trade chairman _Factory Management, Premium Committee, Surveillance Committee, PICs, and representatives from our subsidiaries, Greenland Fedha and Manjani Insurance.
We appreciate the active participation and valuable contributions from all stakeholders. Together, we remain committed to strengthening governance, promoting transparency, and improving the livelihoods of our farmers through sustainable growth and development.
