We started with a question.
For months, we’ve spent time with expatriates, their families, kids and international staff
And every time we asked,
“Why Swahili?”
the answers were the same:
“I want to connect with people.”
“I want to feel at home, not like a visitor.”
“I want to be part of something.”
They deeply wanted to speak, write and understand Swahili.
Those conversations changed everything.
So we set ourselves a challenge:
What if learning Swahili could exceed expectations, spark emotion… even become unforgettable?
We wanted transformation.
That journey led us to digitizing Swahili learning,
to gamifying progress,
and infusing every activity with culture, human connection and belonging.
We studied neuroscience, gamification psychology and motivation loops.
We tested ideas.
We failed forward.
We designed it again.
And today
we’re excited to reveal just a small snippet of what we’ve been building behind the scenes.
Not a course.
Not an app.
A learning experience.
And here’s the shift we’re seeing:
From: “I’m trying to learn Swahili.”
To: “I am becoming a Swahili speaker.”
