Finally we were able to deliver the three computers to Umoja children's home in Bomet County in Kenya. To some of us these are just 3 desktop computers (of course we are blessed to have or access more sophisticated gadgets including phones that are more technologically advanced than these computers). You can only understand what these computers mean to these children when you share in their joy and thrill when they were receiving the computers; the mere thought that they will now have their own computers to use and work on for learning and gaining computer skills just overwhelms them.
I take this opportunity to thank each friend of life dimensions for giving, encouraging and also praying that this need would be met, God bless you. Special thanks to Grace Njiru, David Muchiri, Samuel Kinyanjui and Agnes who participated in giving resources of various kinds not to mention cash, softwares, expertise to make this project a reality.
We are on the right track with our first steps of the thousand miles journey towards improving education and skills development standards of our children.
The project hopes to raise at least 3 more computers for phase one of our computer lab set up. Watch this space!!

Through the generous support of friends of life dimensions, we will be able to provide Umoja childrens home in Bomet County with 3 computers (1 for administration use and 2 for the upcoming children computer lab). Another great friend of life dimensions offered to fully instal the machines with required operational softwares both for the administration and children use. We are still in need of at least 3 more computers for phase 1 one of the computer lab. We sincerely thank all of you and pray that God will bless you.

I am so excited tonight to report that our computer campaign to support Umoja childrens home in Bomet County gained new momentum through the generous cash donation by Grace Njiru, May God richly bless you Grace. The campaign continues until the kids and the home have adequate computer facilities....

A few weeks ago, Life dimensions launched a campaign to support Umoja children's home in Bomet County purchase computers for their administration use and for the children to use in the computer lab that was underway, I must say that even though the response so far has not allowed us to get all the machines for this initiative, we are so thankful to each of our friends that supported us in one way or the other including just wishing the initiative achieves the objective.
I am proud to inform all our friends that we will be visiting Umoja Children home on 5th November 2015 and present to the children what the initiative will have realized out of this campaign.

As we look forward to celebrate the fathers of the world, Life dimensions will be launching an interactive fb page called- A Father's Diary. the page will be a platform for all fathers (young and old, married and single) to share their experiences (good and bad), challenges and struggles and also have an opportunity to learn and support each earn in the lifelong journey of fatherhood.
