How can you move to Germany? 🇩🇪

There are many pathways, but let me simplify it into three practical options:

I will Focus on this in the coming Posts.

1. Student Visa (Master’s)
2. Ausbildung (Vocational Training)
3. Chancekarte (Job Seeker Visa)

Let’s break it down.

1. Chancekarte (Job Seeker Visa)

This visa allows you to move to Germany and look for work.

You’ll need a blocked account—this is money you deposit and can only withdraw monthly to support yourself while job hunting.

Ideally, within a year, you should secure a job in your field of study. If not, you may extend your stay, but the same financial requirements apply.

One key thing: Germany prioritizes skilled workers. Jobs like cleaning or warehouse work won’t qualify you for a work visa.

Also—language is everything.
If you come without German, you’ll struggle. Balancing work, job applications, and language school (which is expensive) can quickly become overwhelming.

My advice? Aim for at least B2 level German before you travel.
