🐐 A Mother Goat Needs More Than Just Food After Giving Birth!

After kidding, proper care of the doe and her newborn kids is critical for their survival and healthy growth.

✅ Keep the bedding clean and dry to reduce infections.

✅ Make sure every kid receives colostrum as soon as possible after birth.

✅ Check that the mother is producing enough milk and that all kids are nursing.

✅ Protect newborns from cold, rain and drafts, especially during their first days.

✅ Monitor the doe for retained placenta, mastitis, weakness or abnormal discharge.

👉 A healthy mother + adequate colostrum + good hygiene = stronger kids and better survival.
