I stand in full support of the warning that we must remain extremely vigilant as history threatens to repeat itself in the most divisive way. We must warn the opposition that one among them is being groomed to be the "Matiba" of our time—a tool strategically used to fragment the Mt. Kenya vote and dilute the collective bargaining power, just as it happened in the past to our detriment. The actions of some politicians bear all the hallmarks of a State House mole to scatter the mountain, and we must be weary of these Trojan horses masquerading as independent voices. Let us refuse to be divided and conquered once again; a united front is the only shield we have against those who seek to rule us by breaking our strength. — Hon. David Ondieki aka BAMO

APPRECIATING BAMO FOUNDATION — A HEART FOR COMMUNITY HEALTH ❤️🩺

As Dr. Marini, I would like to sincerely appreciate Bamo Foundation for its commitment to supporting marginalized and underserved communities over the past three years.

Through the organisation of medical camps, Bamo Foundation has continued to make a meaningful difference by helping communities access essential healthcare services. As a medical team, we have been privileged to be part of this noble initiative, offering health education, free medical consultations, treatment, and counselling to patients.

This is more than just a medical camp—it is an initiative that brings hope, dignity, and better health to people who need it most. We believe that healthier communities are stronger communities, and such efforts go a long way in improving livelihoods.

We are grateful to Bamo Foundation for putting people first and investing in the wellbeing of the community. We look forward to seeing you all at the next medical camp. Together, we can make a difference.

I wish to echo and strongly concur with the sentiments expressed by Hon. Millie Odhiambo. As she rightly pointed out, there is absolutely no reason to carry arms against your neighbor. In a functioning democracy, we must embrace the politics of unity and ideological debate, not physical assault or intimidation.

The shameful acts of hooliganism and violence witnessed in Homa Bay this past weekend have no place in a civilized society. The raiding of hotels, the destruction of property, and the tragic loss of life are stains on our democratic fabric. We cannot condone a culture where hired goons are used to settle political scores.

Let us be reminded: politics is a season, but life continues long after the ballot. I urge our youth not to be misled or misused by those who seek to profit from chaos. We are one people, and we must co-exist. Let us pursue a Kenya where we can differ in opinion but remain united in our humanity.

We are not just talking about change,we are preparing to build it.
A new chapter calls for fresh energy, bold ideas, and leadership that puts the people first. Let us leave behind division and move forward with unity, purpose, and hope.
Our time is now. Our future is together.

After more than 10 years of serving and walking with my community, I felt it was time to pause, share a meal and say goodbye to a chapter that has meant so much to me.

The BBQ at my residence was more than just a gathering. It was a moment to appreciate the friendships, trust, memories and lessons built over the years.

As I turn the page, my heart and focus now return home to Menengai West, a community I have known for over 30 years and one that I deeply understand.

The next chapter is about coming home, listening, serving and transforming our community together.

Menengai West is home. And home is where the next journey begins.

Sporting activities and talent development are powerful tools for empowering our youth, promoting unity, and creating opportunities.

I was proud today to support the Mangu Police Station Volleyball Tournament by donating jerseys, volleyball nets, balls, and cash prizes to the participating teams: Umoja Volleyball Team a.k.a Gicheha Team and 6 Brothers a.k.a. Menengai Volleyball Team.

Congratulations to 6 Brothers a.k.a. Menengai Volleyball Team for emerging as the champions. 🏆

This is just a small contribution from the little I have. With your support and once elected as the MCA for Menengai West Ward, I will lobby for increased funding and better sports facilities to ensure our talented youth get the opportunities they deserve.
GOD BLESS MENENGAI WEST, GOD BLESS KENYA
