Internship Opportunities – Global Divas Movement (GDM)

Location: Remote Option
Duration: 3 Months
Start Date: 1st October 2025
Type: Part-time

About GDM:
→ A global initiative empowering women through healing, leadership, wellness, and enterprise
→ Creates safe spaces for survivors of gender-based violence (GBV), grassroots leaders, and women changemakers

Available Roles:

1. Communications Intern
→ Manage and schedule posts on GDM social media platforms
→ Draft newsletters, press releases, and blog content
→ Assist in creating graphics, flyers, and event materials
→ Monitor engagement and prepare monthly communication reports

Qualifications:
→ Strong written and verbal communication skills
→ Familiarity with Canva, social media platforms, and basic digital marketing
→ Creative thinker with attention to detail

2. Events Planning Intern
→ Support logistics for events such as GDM Summit, Hope Awards, and Wellness Retreats
→ Maintain guest lists, registrations, and confirmations
→ Coordinate vendors, venues, and supplies
→ Assist with on-site event ex*****on and post-event reporting

Qualifications:
→ Excellent organizational and time-management skills
→ Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure
→ Strong interpersonal skills for liaising with partners and participants

General Requirements (All Interns):
→ Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from Social Sciences, Communications, Business, Gender Studies, Development Studies, or related field
→ Passionate about women’s empowerment and social impact
→ Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn
→ Able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
→ Basic digital literacy (Google Workspace, MS Office)
