For 72 hours, Truphena held onto a tree — not as a challenge, but as a declaration.
A declaration of strength, of peace, of connection to the earth that raised us.
While the world rushed, she chose stillness.
While others doubted, she breathed deeply and kept her arms wrapped around purpose.

This wasn’t just about breaking a world record.
It was about reminding us that endurance is quiet, courage is gentle, and history can be made in the softest of ways.

Today, we celebrate a lady who didn’t just hug a tree… she hugged the world with her bravery.
Truphena, you turned patience into power and persistence into a legacy.
The record is yours — but the inspiration is ours." 🌍🌿💚 Alex Sona

TEACHER VS LAWYER

A proud lawyer once sold his well to a retired teacher. Two days later, the lawyer swaggered back and said with a smirk, "Sir, I sold you the well, but not the water inside it. Water is extra—premium, of course!"

The teacher scratched his head, then smiled wide, "Ah, I see! So the water belongs to you? Well, how about you start hauling your water out immediately!"

The lawyer blinked, impressed by the quick wit, but undeterred: "Or you can pay me rent for the water you use!"

The teacher chuckled and leaned in, "Rent? My dear lawyer, if the water is yours, you’d better start paying rent for the well itself—because that water’s been living rent-free in my soil for years!"

The lawyer laughed, "I guess I’m finally paying for my education outside the courtroom!"

The teacher winked, "See? It proves what they say—lawyers may sell wells, but teachers make people think twice about them."

And from that day forward, the lawyer learned a new law: never argue about water with a teacher, or you might just get schooled—and billed with laughter!

KANYONI WA NG'ETHE THE INFAMOUS BIRD WAS FINALLY CAUGHT ON CAMERA BY SONA SHOTS .
A story is told that...

Kanyoni wa Ng'ethe was no ordinary bird. Legend had it that whenever humans or animals got too close, he'd instantly transform into a leafy plant! One day, a curious farmer spotted Kanyoni near his crops. As he crept closer, the bird suddenly turned into a bush with eyes! The farmer blinked and whispered, "Even plants these days are playing hide and seek."

But Kanyoni wasn’t done—when a sneaky goat tried to nibble the “bush,” he morphed into a cactus. The goat backed off, bleating in surprise, and Kanyoni flew off, chuckling in his birdy way, “Try again tomorrow, friends!”

Every lens tells a different story. A wide angle pulls me into the chaos of a crowded street, a portrait lens whispers secrets through a single glance, while a macro lens teaches patience by revealing worlds hidden in a raindrop. Today, I chose the lens that didn’t just capture an image—it captured a feeling. That’s the magic of photography: not what you see, but how you choose to see it. SONA SHOTS SONA SHOTS

This morning, I stepped out with my camera, not chasing anything in particular—just letting the day unfold. Then, there it was: a boy, barefoot, chasing his shadow as the sun spilled gold across the ground.

I paused. Click.
One frame, one story.

He didn’t notice me, and maybe that’s the beauty of it. Pure, unposed life—the kind you can’t rehearse, only witness. That’s the magic of photography: finding poetry in moments that almost slip away.

Here’s to Sundays that remind us to slow down, breathe, and notice.
Because the small stories? They’re often the ones worth keeping. 📸✨ SONA SHOTS Alex Sona
