At Tazri, we believe that true change begins when we come together as one. On Thursday, we witnessed something beautiful — a powerful show of unity, sacrifice, and community pride.

Yesterday was nothing short of amazing! Our clean-up drive was a resounding success — and it’s all thanks to the power of community, unity, and purpose. 💚

We extend our deepest gratitude to the incredible community members who volunteered, showing up with energy, heart, and hope for a cleaner Chaka.

This World Environment Day, we take action – together.

Chaka, it’s our time to shine 💪. Join Tazri, in proud partnership with the County Government of Nyeri, local churches, schools, and youth groups, as we come together to clean up our town and celebrate the power of community-driven environmental change.

🗓 Date: Thursday, 5th June 2025
📍 Location: Chaka Railway Station
🕗 Time: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Dear Chaka family,

We sincerely apologize for the last-minute change in the date of our community event. Due to unavoidable circumstances and in coordination with our partners, we’re undergoing some restructuring to align our clean-up drive and civic engagement efforts with World Environment Day.

We know many of you had planned to attend and support us—your commitment means everything. 🙏 We’re working behind the scenes to make sure the event is bigger, better, and more impactful for our community and environment.
