Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our HR department's daily activities. The HR Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring that all HR functions operate smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of HR processes, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding
Assist in posting job openings and screening resumes.
Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates.
Prepare onboarding materials and facilitate new hire orientations.
Complete background checks and verify employment documents.
Employee Records Management
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal details, attendance, and employment contracts.
Assist in updating HR databases and generating reports as required.
Handle requests for employment verification and other document preparation.
Payroll and Benefits Administration
Support payroll processing by collecting and verifying timesheets and attendance records.
Assist in coordinating employee benefits enrollment and answer employee queries related to payroll and benefits.
Employee Relations and Support
Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies and procedures.
Support HR initiatives and assist in organizing employee engagement activities.
Help in addressing employee grievances under the supervision of the HR Manager.
Compliance and Reporting
Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Assist in preparing HR-related reports and documentation.
Maintain confidentiality with sensitive employee information and manage HR data responsibly.
General Administrative Support
Schedule meetings and coordinate HR-related events.
Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and other HR documents.
Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Diploma, Or CHRP.
Experience: At least 3 years previous experience as an HR Assistant or related administrative role is advantageous.
Skills:
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with HR software and databases is a plus.
