Dubai Housemaid Recruitment Update Important Guidelines
Today we had a discussion with the Dubai office regarding the recruitment of Kenyan housemaids. We discussed the issue of first-time applicants and candidates with previous experience.
The agreement is as follows:
1. First Time Applicants (No Previous Experience)
* First-time applicants will be processed under a sponsor visa.
* The sponsor visa must be stamped here in Kenya before travelling.
* The candidate will be required to complete the following processes:
* GAMCA medical examination approximately KSh 13,000
* Embassy visa fees approximately KSh 13,000
* Good conduct attestation approximately KSh 8,000
* Medical attestation approximately KSh 3,500
* The total estimated processing cost is approximately KSh 37,500.
* My commission for a stamping visa will be KSh 25,000, and this will include providing the visa and air ticket.
2. Candidates with Experience
* Candidates with previous housemaid experience will be considered for a company visa if they perform well during the interview.
* The selection process is very strict. The candidate’s presentation matters a lot because management reviews the videos before making the final decision.
* Candidates should ensure:
* Good-quality introduction videos
* Proper grooming and professional appearance
* Clear and fluent English communication
* Confidence during interviews
* Many candidates are rejected not because of their skills, but because their videos do not meet the management’s expectations.
* For company visa candidates, the requirements will be:
* Normal medical examination
* Good conduct attested through the Dubai Embassy approximately KSh 8,000
* After approval, the work visa (company visa) application will proceed.
* My commission for company visa processing will be KSh 30,000, which will include providing the visa and air ticket.
Please ensure that the recruitment team focuses on selecting serious candidates, especially first-time applicants with good presentation, good communication skills, and professional videos. The quality of the candidate’s video plays a major role in approval by the Dubai management.
