A legacy worth leaving?
Every president leaves something behind. Kibaki gave us free primary education and the Thika Superhighway. Uhuru gave us SGR. Whatever you think of their politics,those are the things that outlive headlines.
My honest personal take, I think President Ruto is headed for a one-term presidency unless miracles happen, which normaly do. Saul changed to Paul😃.Alot can change before 2027.
President Ruto still has a chance to write his chapter.But heres the thing, Kenyans are tired of unfulfilled promises. What kenyans havent seen is the one thing that would actually change this country for generations: A REAL FEARLESS WAR ON CORRUPTION.
Not the kind where small fish get arrested while big ones walk free. Not taskforces that produces reports nobody reads. Real accountability even for those closest to him.
If i'm right Fundi wa siasa might not see the second term. Id rather see the remaining time spent on Fight against corruption than more manifestos and promises. Kibaki isnt remebered for his scandals which happened but the free education millenials enjoyed and the Thika superhighway that people use on daily errands. A legacy that even if he is not elected we will remember.
