🇰🇭 Promoting Preah Sihanouk Province on the World Stage On 26 May 2026,
On the afternoon of 26 May 2026, H.E. Mang Sineth, Governor of Preah Sihanouk Province, held a pivotal investor engagement meeting with business leaders and investors from Hefei, the capital of China's Anhui Province. The gathering, held at the prestigious Swissotel Hefei Grand Park, marked a significant step in Cambodia's active outreach to attract quality Chinese investment into one of Southeast Asia's most strategically promising coastal destinations.
The meeting brought together a select audience of Hefei-based investors and entrepreneurs, presenting them with a comprehensive overview of the business environment, strategic advantages, and current investment opportunities available within Preah Sihanouk Province — a region that has rapidly emerged as a hub for international commerce, tourism, logistics, and industrial development along the Gulf of Thailand.
Also in attendance was Mr. Ma Zhenjun, Vice President of the Association of Investor Promoting Development of Cambodia-ASEAN (AIPDC-ASEAN). Mr. Ma played a key role in facilitating the dialogue between the Cambodian delegation and the local Chinese business community, reinforcing the association's core mandate of connecting Chinese entrepreneurs with concrete investment pathways across Cambodia and the broader ASEAN region.
The Association of Investor Promoting Development of Cambodia-ASEAN (AIPDC-ASEAN) is a business promotion body dedicated to strengthening economic ties between China and Cambodia within the wider ASEAN investment landscape. The association actively works to identify, advise, and accompany Chinese investors seeking entry into Cambodia's growing market, with a special focus on Preah Sihanouk Province — a coastal gateway offering exceptional potential in tourism, trade, real estate, and industrial development. Through forums, investor missions, and direct facilitation, AIPDC-ASEAN serves as a trusted bridge that translates Cambodia's investment potential into actionable opportunities for Chinese business leaders — reducing barriers, building trust, and promoting long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships between the two nations.
