VALE MAKES THE FIRST SHIPMENT TO ARCELORMITTAL THROUGH VALEMAX VESSEL

SAO PAULO - Vale will deliver its first shipment of iron ore to ArcelorMittal Valemax using a ship at the Port of Rotterdam. The Berge Jaya, chartered by Vale, should dock this week in the dry bulk terminal in Dutch Harbor. Built by Chinese Bohai Shipyard, the vessel type Valemax is the largest ore carrier in the world, with a capacity of 400 thousand tons.

ATLANTICO SUL SHIPYARD LAUNCHED TO THE SEA THE TANKER ZUMBI DOS PALMARES - November 23rd 2012

SHIPBUILDING INDUSTRY HAS TO MEET DEMAND, SAYS MINISTER

The finance minister, Guido Mantega, said yesterday, that the marine industry is challenged to meet demand over supply.
