It’s always an amazing feeling for the team when a project finally goes public, so it was great to see launch Pro II Broadband in the UK last week.
Built on a hardware family designed by , Vodafone Pro II Broadband has at it’s heart the Ultra Hub, which delivers Wi-Fi 6E, the fastest, most advanced Wi-Fi ever, with an ability to support over 150 devices in the home at once. Working alongside the Ultra Hub is the Super Wi-FI 6E Booster, which delivers a superior and reliable connectivity experience to every corner of the home, and the 4G Broadband Back-up with hybrid hub technology that automatically switches to the 4G mobile network in the unlikely event the broadband goes down.
Despite all the amazing technical delivery capability, the industrial design form and materials is about playing down the tech, with a simple recessive design language that fits quietly into the home environment.
Lastly and very importantly we are proud to be able to help Vodafone on their mission to reduce packaging and plastic waste generated by the products they create. The housing of Vodafone Ultra Hub, Super WiFi 6E, and 4G Broadband Back-up are all built out of 95% recycled plastic, and all products will be offered in plastic-free packaging, made from recycled and recyclable paper.
