We are honored that Beautification & Greenery within Area D (Part D1) has been named a National Winner at the 2026 MEED Projects Awards. 🏆
In collaboration with CDM Smith , this project modernizes the agricultural water infrastructure serving the Abdally farming region and Area D, delivering treated water to farmland, roadside plantations and landscaped areas through two bulk transfer stations and 16 automated pumping stations.
An integrated control room gives operators real-time oversight of the network, keeping distribution reliable and efficient. By making greater use of treated water, the project reduces reliance on freshwater and supports Kuwait’s sustainability and food security goals.
بالتعاون مع CDM Smith ، يُحدّث هذا المشروع البنية التحتية لمياه الري التي تخدم منطقة العبدلي الزراعية والمنطقة D ، ويوفّر المياه المعالجة للأراضي الزراعية والمساحات الخضراء والتشجير على جوانب الطرق، عبر محطتين رئيسيتين لنقل المياه و16 محطة ضخ آلية.
كما سيشتمل على غرفة تحكم متكاملة للمشغّلين لمراقبة الشبكة لحظياً، بما يضمن موثوقية توزيع المياه وكفاءته. ومن خلال تعزيز استخدام المياه المعالجة، يُسهم المشروع في تقليل الاعتماد على المياه العذبة ودعم أهداف الكويت في الاستدامة والأمن الغذائي.
