The GNFSL proudly declares that it is the 25th member association of 'Organization of Professional Associations' (OPA) which is the umbrella association of all professional associations in Sri Lanka with 44 other professional bodies (by 2015). Today the GNFSL membership exceeds 300 graduate nurses including nurses from all categories; hospital services, community services and nursing education field from all over the country. Annual General Meeting 2025/2026 – GNFSL

The Graduate Nurses’ Foundation of Sri Lanka (GNFSL) successfully held its Annual General Meeting for the year 2025/2026 on 22nd February 2025 at the Post Basic College Auditorium.

A key highlight of the event was the thought-provoking panel discussion on "Ripple Effect of Nurse Migration on Health Care, Families, and Communities." The session featured insightful contributions from experts and professionals in the field, sparking meaningful dialogue on the far-reaching impacts of nurse migration in Sri Lanka and beyond.

The AGM served as a valuable platform for members to reflect on achievements, discuss challenges, and strengthen professional ties. GNFSL extends its heartfelt thanks to all participants, panelists, and members who contributed to making the event a resounding success.

The General Meeting of the Graduate Nurses Foundation of Sri Lanka (GNFSL) for the 2024/2025 session is scheduled to take place on 21st December 2024, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, via an online platform.

As a special highlight of this general meeting, there will be an educational session on "Legal and Ethical Issues in Nursing" from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, as detailed in the attached flyer.
