Guest of Honor Dr. Hina Shah, Founder and CEO of the International Centre for Entrepreneurship and Career Development (ICECD), India, delivered an inspiring address highlighting her four-decade journey of supporting entrepreneurship development in Sri Lanka. She commended the remarkable progress made in empowering women entrepreneurs and praised the Sri Lanka–Canada Business Council for creating opportunities that enable MSMEs to thrive.

Emphasizing that small and medium enterprises are the backbone of economic growth, Dr. Shah encouraged entrepreneurs to embrace innovation, technology, e-commerce, and global market opportunities. She also underscored the importance of mentorship, collaboration, and a strong support ecosystem in helping businesses grow from micro enterprises into sustainable and competitive ventures.
