The 2024/2025 intake of the Department of Marketing at the University of Kelaniya steps in as a dynamic group of young minds — shaped and polished through their school years, now ready to transform into future market leaders.
These enthusiastic and energetic undergraduates represent the next generation of marketers who will influence markets, brands, and consumer landscapes in the years ahead. It was both a challenge and a true pleasure to conduct the Outbound Training (OBT) program for this promising batch — fostering teamwork, leadership, communication, and a strong sense of belonging from day one.
On a personal note, this experience was especially meaningful. As a proud postgraduate (Master’s in Marketing) from the same department, returning to train the new undergraduates was a full-circle moment. From student to trainer — contributing to the journey of future marketers — is a privilege I deeply value.
