We recently conducted our first Board Review and inaugural site visit with the esteemed Board members who made the strategic decision to take an important step towards strengthening and advancing the systematic production systems of Rainco— one of Sri Lanka’s most prominent and respected companies & market leader in Umbrellas , Mosquito Nets, and Rainwear.

It was a focused and productive discussion where we presented the progress achieved thus far and outlined the roadmap for the next phase. During the session, we aligned on key Lean principles centered around SQDCM — prioritizing Safety, enhancing quality, improving delivery performance, optimizing cost, and strengthening Morale.

This engagement clearly reflects forward-thinking leadership and a strong commitment to sustainable growth, driven by structured KPIs and disciplined ex*****on.

We are proud to introduce Udara Ranasinghe, Founder & CEO of ValueCraft Minds — a transformation leader driven by the philosophy of aligning People, Process, and Technology to deliver measurable results.

With over 15 years of experience in the apparel industry across Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, Udara began his career as a Lean Champion, leading operational improvements from the factory floor. He later expanded into Development Merchandising, gaining end-to-end exposure across the manufacturing lifecycle.

He has held key leadership roles including Lean Manufacturing Manager and Manager – Quality Systems & Product Safety, and became one of the youngest General Managers in Sri Lanka — recognized for leading large-scale operational transformation and building high-performance teams.

A graduate of the University of Colombo, a Member of CIMA, and an MBA holder from Wrexham University (UK), he blends analytical strength, financial discipline, and strategic thinking.

ValueCraft Minds was founded on his vision to drive business transformation through innovation, structured processes, and empowered people — crafting sustainable growth for modern enterprises.
