Why are they apologizing? Those who didn't support the former president Weah are now pleading for support by saying these words.

This is quite a mix-up!

While President Joseph Boakai was leaving his residence, citizens gathered nearby to welcome former President George Weah to his home. You could see two groups—one praising President Boakai and the other chanting in support of former President Weah.

Interestingly, both leaders live in the same community, just about two blocks apart. For a sitting president, witnessing such a scene right outside his residence could understandably be upsetting.

Liberia Broadcasting Systems - LBS Managing Director Eugene Fahngon said it openly to his fellow Liberians that they will still beg him or others who are in power to help them and not Weah, so they who are going to get him nothing significant it will make but he (George Weah) will be home resting while hundreds of other citizens will walk alone home.
Why is he saying this in such a manner? đŸ˜©

Ex-VP Jewel Howard-Taylor’s Court Appearance Postponed to Friday

The preliminary examination involving former Vice President Jewel Howard-Taylor in a drug-related case has been postponed to Friday, September 4, at 10:00 a.m.

The Monrovia City Court granted the postponement after Taylor’s legal team informed the court that she was medically unwell and required treatment.

Taylor and three foreign nationals are facing multiple serious drug-related charges, including importation, possession, sale and transportation of controlled substances, along with allegations of conspiracy and aiding and abetting.

The defendants remain presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court. The case is expected to proceed on Friday, when the prosecution and defense will present their respective arguments before the court.

BUCHANAN: The Billionaire Drap Tap Foundation has donated L$500,000, 25 bags of rice, and 25 gallons of cooking oil to five police depots in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County.

Each depot received L$100,000, five bags of rice, and five gallons of oil.

Grand Bassa County Police Commander ACP Fasu Sheriff thanked the foundation for its continued support to the Liberia National Police, saying depot heads will use part of the cash to undertake small-scale projects at their stations.

Sheriff said similar support will also be extended to police stations outside Buchanan.
