University of Liberia Releases 2026 Entrance Exam Result

Capitol Hill, Monrovia (August 4, 2026) – The University of Liberia’s Center for Testing and Evaluation (CTE) has released results of the institution’s 2026 entrance exam and aptitude tests, with 4,262 successful candidates across undergraduate, graduate, and professional schools.

According to the CTE, 11,876 candidates sat for the exam and aptitude tests between May and June 2026, recording 7,614 unsuccessful candidates.
At the undergraduate level, 3,695 candidates passed the exam out of 10,917 participants. The graduate school aptitude test recorded 511 successful candidates out of 614 participants, while 40 passed the medical school test out of 310 participants. Sixteen candidates passed the school of pharmacy test out of 35 participants.

By gender, women outperformed men across categories, with 2,260 female candidates passing compared to 2,002 males. At the undergraduate level, 2,034 women succeeded, representing 55 percent of the total, while 1,661 men accounted for 45 percent.

The CTE noted that 361 of the 11,278 undergraduate candidates who registered were absent. Those who sat the undergraduate exam were 10,917 or 96.8%, with 6,817 or 62.44% of them unsuccessful. Additionally, 405 candidates were disqualified for incorrectly shading exam numbers.

There were 2,034 or 55.05% female successful candidates at the undergraduate level, while successful male candidates were 1,661 or 44.95%.
The CTE further reported that a total of 632 candidates registered for the graduate school aptitude test (GSAT), of whom 18, or 2.85% candidates, were absent.
Of the 614 or 97.15% candidates who took the graduate school test, 511 or 83.22% passed, while 102 or 16.61% were unsuccessful. One candidate was disqualified for cheating.

Additionally, a total of 319 candidates registered for the medical school aptitude test (MSAT), but 9 candidates (2.82%) were absent. The CTE disclosed that 40 of the 310 candidates who participated passed. It said 254 or 81.94% were unsuccessful, and 16 or 5.16% were disqualified for cheating.
A total of 36 candidates registered for the School of Pharmacy Aptitude Test (PSAT), with one of them absent.

Out of the 35 candidates who participated in the test, CTE reported that 16 or 45.71% passed, and 18 or 51.43% were unsuccessful. One candidate was also disqualified for cheating.
