Bomi Police Burn Over 50 Seized Megaphones in Crackdown on Motorcyclists

The Liberia National Police in Bomi County has confiscated and burned more than 50 megaphones and music devices seized from commercial motorcyclists in Tubmanburg.

Police say the action forms part of a crackdown on noise pollution and the use of loud music while riding, which authorities describe as a public disturbance and road safety risk.

Officers warn that violators will face further action as the exercise continues across the city.

The police say the operation is aimed at improving public order and safety in Bomi County.

HEART-BREAKING REVELATION: WOMAN COMMUNICATES WITH LATE PARTNER 'SPIRIT' RECEIVES MONEY, UNWARR HE DIED WEEKS AGO

A heartbreaking and emotional story has touched hearts across social media, after a Liberian woman identified as Cuteness Cooper revealed she had been speaking, exchanging messages, and even receiving money from the father of her son, completely unaware that he had passed away nearly three weeks earlier.

Victor D. Kpantoe, a son of Grand Bassa County, died on April 23, 2026, news that was kept entirely from Ms. Cooper. For weeks after his death, she continued to receive messages and financial support, believing he was alive and well, and only thought he had poor network connection whenever she could not reach him by phone.

The shocking truth came to light earlier this week when Ms. Cooper checked her message requests on Facebook and saw a notification informing her of his death.

In a tearful, emotional post shared on her timeline, she wrote:

“Chy my people, this life 😭😭😭😭. So you mean I was talking with your spirit? Because I don’t know anything about your death. You even sent money to my mom just these few days for your son Tony. Until today when I went to my messenger message request, I saw a message from someone saying you died April 23. Just in this same April we were talking. Even when you sent the money, I tried calling but your line was not going — I was thinking it was just network problems. Anyway, we cannot ask God why. Rest in peace Victor D. Kpantoe. Your son and I will miss you 😭😭😭.”

Her account has left many stunned, wondering how communication and transactions continued seamlessly even after his passing, leaving her living in total ignorance of the tragedy.
