HR, Industrial & Labour Relations Consulting Intern
Core Solutions Holdings is seeking a passionate, driven, and professional individual to join our team as an HR, Industrial & Labour Relations Consulting Intern.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in Human Resources (HR), Industrial Relations (IR), Labour Relations (LR), Employee Relations, and Business Consulting, while also providing administrative support across various projects.
Key Responsibilities
âś… Assist with HR, IR, and LR consulting assignments
âś… Conduct research on labour legislation, workplace policies, and best practices
âś… Support disciplinary hearings, grievance procedures, and dispute resolution processes
âś… Assist with the development of HR policies, procedures, and compliance documentation
âś… Prepare reports, presentations, and consulting documents
âś… Support recruitment, training, and performance management initiatives
âś… Coordinate meetings and maintain accurate records and documentation
âś… Provide administrative and operational support to the consulting team
Minimum Requirements
✔️ Diploma or Degree in:
•Human Resource Management
•Industrial Relations
•Labour Relations
•Employment Relations
•Human Capital Management
•Industrial Psychology
•Organizational Development
•Business Administration (HR Specialisation)
✔️ Strong understanding of labour and employment issues
✔️ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
✔️ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
✔️ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
✔️ Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

One Wrong Dismissal Decision Can Cost Your Business More Than Money
A dismissal is not simply a management decision. It is a legal process that must be supported by facts, fairness, and proper documentation.
Too many employers only discover weaknesses in their case when a dispute reaches the DDPR or the Labour Court. By then, valuable time, money, and resources have already been lost.
Before finalising a dismissal, stop and ask these three critical questions:
âś… Can we clearly prove the reason for dismissal?
The reason must be specific, supported by evidence, and linked to a legally recognised ground for dismissal. Assumptions, frustrations, or vague concerns are not enough.
âś… Did we follow a fair and consistent procedure?
Even when there is a valid reason, failure to follow the correct process can expose the business to unnecessary risk. Fairness and procedural compliance matter just as much as the facts.
