Your Busy Bee Assistance

Your Busy Bee Assistance Welcome to Your Busy Bee Assistance! After living and working in various countries, I have settled in the beautiful country of Luxembourg with my family.

As a VA, I specialise in providing you admin support & solutions for your day-to-day business admin tasks plus, inbox maintenance, bookkeeping, event management, project administration, database and website upkeep, newsletters, and research.
My name is Louise Edworthy and I’m passionate about helping professionals by easing their administrative workloads, solving problems, and overco

ming challenges. I love what I do and supporting people and businesses - all from the comfort of my virtual office, wherever you are in the world! Growing up surrounded by family-run businesses, I understand the hard work and sacrifices small business owners make to balance work and other commitments. It can seem impossible at times to get everything done! Throughout my career, I’ve used my initiative and discretion to deliver administration and support to teams in event management and projects of all sizes, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met. I’m quick to learn and always looking for opportunities to grow. My secret weapon is being efficient, organised, and constantly planning so I can dedicate time and knowledge to supporting you and your business. Once upon a time, we all worked for big companies – whatever help we needed was available in-house. There was an IT Department, a Marketing Department, a Finance Department … all sorts of people whose job it was to support the work we did every day. Today, that’s all changed. When you work on your own – as a solo or owner of a small business – it’s up to you to keep the business running smoothly, in addition to doing the work itself. It can be frustrating and time-consuming. Even when it does go well, it keeps you from the work you’d rather be doing. That’s where I come in. I handle all the details and all the minutiae – the things you hate doing – so that you can get back to work. ✨ September brings clarity.
Sometimes clarity comes from making a plan.

And sometimes it comes from living through the changes and discovering what actually matters.

September has always felt like a natural reset - new routines, renewed focus and a chance to look at where our time and energy are going.
But resetting doesn’t have to mean adding more to the list.

Sometimes the most useful question is: What could I take off it?

The right support can create space to concentrate on the work that needs you — and give you back time for everything else that matters too.

👉 If September has you looking at your workload and wondering what you could hand over, perhaps it’s time for a conversation.

“Sometimes resurfacing doesn’t mean coming back as you were.”

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately.

We often talk about getting back to normal, getting back on track or picking up where we left off.

But sometimes life changes the rhythm.

And when you resurface, perhaps the answer isn’t to recreate what you were doing before.

Perhaps it’s to ask:

What still matters?
What could work differently?
And what would I rather make space for now?

For me, that means being more intentional about where I spend my time in work, in business and outside both.

And perhaps that’s something worth remembering as September approaches.
Support isn’t always about fitting more into the day.

Sometimes it’s about taking a few things out — creating the time and headspace for the work, people and parts of life that matter most.

That was one of the reasons I started Your Busy Bee Assistance in the first place, and it still sits at the heart of what I do today. 🐝

As September approaches, what would you like to make more space for?

"Sometimes progress looks less like moving forward and more like finding your feet again.”

I've been a little quieter on here lately.

Not because nothing has been happening — rather the opposite.

The last few months have brought change, new beginnings, plenty of learning and a lot of adjusting. And somewhere amongst all of that, I've been reminded that we don't always need to rush straight into the next thing.

Sometimes we need to find our feet.

To notice what's working.

To establish new routines.

And to enjoy the view for a moment. 🌿

I'm beginning to feel that sense of rhythm returning — both personally and professionally — and I'm looking forward to sharing a little more again.

For now, here's one of the views that's been making me stop and appreciate the moment.

What helps you find your feet again after a period of change?

🐎 Year of the Horse – Finding Your Rhythm
"Strength isn't measured by how fast you run, but by how steadily you keep moving."

August feels different.

After months of change, challenge and new beginnings, this month isn't about racing ahead. It's about finding a pace that feels sustainable.

The Horse knows that consistency is more powerful than constant speed. Small, steady steps create lasting progress.

Whether you're returning from holiday, starting a new role, or simply trying to keep everything moving, remember that you don't have to do everything at once.

Build routines that support you.

Create systems that reduce the pressure.

Progress doesn't have to feel frantic.
👉 One of my favourite parts of supporting businesses is helping create simple processes that bring calm to busy days. When work has structure, people have space to focus on what matters most.

✨ "Freedom isn't about having less to do. It's about having the right things to do."

July brings a sense of lightness.

Not because life suddenly becomes quieter, but because we begin to recognise what truly deserves our time and energy.

The Horse reminds us that freedom isn't found by running faster.

It's created through good decisions.
Healthy boundaries.
Trusted relationships.
And building support around us when we need it.

As we move into the second half of the year, I'm reminding myself that success isn't measured by how busy we are.

It's measured by whether we've created a life and a business that we actually enjoy. Sometimes the greatest freedom comes from knowing you don't have to do everything alone.

💛 Here's to making space for what matters most this month.

✨ "Sometimes we don't realise we're closing one chapter until the next one quietly begins."

💛 As June comes to an end, I've found myself looking back over a month filled with conversations, community, challenges, celebrations and new opportunities.

There have been busy days, quieter moments, plenty of learning, and more than a few reminders of how important it is to keep a sustainable pace.

Looking through my photos, one thing stands out.

People.
The conversations over coffee.
The networking events.
The clients who trust me.
The volunteers who give their time so generously.
The colleagues who make busy days enjoyable.
The friends who check in.
The new faces and the familiar ones.

I've always believed that business is about people first.
Relationships built over time.
Helping where you can.
Listening.
Connecting.

As July approaches, I'm looking forward to an exciting new chapter, while feeling incredibly grateful for everything—and everyone—that has helped shape this one.

Thank you to everyone who's been part of the journey so far.

Here's to whatever comes next.

👉 Looking back over June, what's one moment or connection you'll remember most?

✨ "Home is not always where you start. Sometimes it's where you choose to grow."

💛 Today Luxembourg celebrates its National Day.

It's a day of tradition, community, and coming together to celebrate this remarkable little country that so many of us are proud to call home.

As an expat, one of the things I've come to appreciate most about Luxembourg is the sense of connection.

A place where different nationalities, cultures, and experiences come together.

A place where a conversation can turn into a friendship, a collaboration, or an opportunity. A place where community really matters.

Over the years, I've been fortunate to meet incredible people through work, volunteering, networking, and local organisations. Many of those connections have become an important part of my Luxembourg journey.

National Day feels like the perfect moment to pause and appreciate that.

To celebrate not only the traditions and festivities, but also the people who make a community feel like home.

🇱🇺 Wishing everyone celebrating a wonderful Luxembourg National Day.

💛Tomorrow marks the Summer Solstice — the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere.

It's a moment that has been celebrated for centuries and a reminder to pause, reflect and appreciate the season we're in.

For me, June has been full of change, opportunities, conversations, new beginnings and more than a few busy days!

The Solstice feels like a good moment to take stock. Not of everything still left to do, but of what has already been achieved.

The relationships built.
The lessons learned.
The progress made.
The people who have supported us along the way.

As we move into the second half of the year, I'm reminding myself that progress doesn't have to be rushed. Sometimes the best way forward is to enjoy the journey, trust the process and keep moving at a pace that feels sustainable.

🌞 Here's to longer days, lighter evenings and making the most of the season ahead.

💛 June has reminded me that not all progress comes from rushing.

Between events, meetings, conversations, travel, work, family life and the usual daily juggling act, it's been tempting to focus only on what's left to do.

But sometimes it's worth pausing and recognising how far we've already come.

The relationships we've built.
The skills we've developed.
The people we've helped.
The opportunities we've created.

Progress isn't always about moving faster.

Sometimes it's about moving forward with purpose.

As we reach the middle of the year, I'm trying to focus less on doing more and more on doing the right things well.

👉 What's one thing you're proud of achieving so far this year?

✨ "Sustainability isn't only about the planet — it's about people too."

💛 Today is World Environment Day, and this year's theme is:

🌍 "Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future."

When we hear the word sustainability, we often think about recycling, reducing waste, or protecting nature.
But sustainable working matters too.

- Creating systems that work.
- Building realistic workloads.
- Taking breaks before burnout arrives.
- Supporting each other when things get busy.

The healthiest businesses aren't always the busiest. They're often the ones built to last.

Nature reminds us that growth takes time. Strong roots, steady progress, and balance create resilience for the future.

👉 What helps you create a more sustainable working life?
