An immersive experience for high school students: to explore their interests in science, technology, engineering, medicine and robotics.

The goal of the program is to promote science and medicine using surgical robotics and technology. The summer program will allow motivated high school students to take part in a curriculum focused on the general education of medical imaging, radiation, pharmacotherapy, renewable energy, sterilization, and surgical robotics. Students will take part in didactic lectures and hands-on learning with th

e latest medical surgical equipment, including the DaVinci robotic platform. The students will also participate in a research project. All participants will receive a certificate of completion. They will also have an opportunity to present at an international surgical meeting (www.ramsesweb.org).
