Elevator pitch of Jan Welitz.
I’m a Swedish entrepreneur who never gives up. 2003 I found my love, Larisa, in Latvia, got married and within a year, Larisa and I set up our company, SIA E-bags. We became general distributors of Swedish Paper bag producer Stenqvist. It was a funny time, I’m still proud of the video we did when we introduced Swedish paper bags in Baltics and the Post-soviet states. Before, people believed that maximum 4-5 kg could be carried in a paper bag. We proved 20 kg and more and got a significant part of the market. Nowadays, I assist my wife manage our business with printed paper bags on the Baltic and the Scandinavian. Last five years I worked with another product line as I found myself talented for TM and Cold Callings. As Pre-Sales Consultant within TM and DMC, I have a network in Scandinavia that is prepared to expand. I love to be networking in various business fields. I’m a member of the audit committee of Canadian Chamber of Commerce. As a Christian, I’m also networking in ICCC, the International Christian Chamber of Commerce. It’s a global network of believers. Locally in Riga, I'm in the ministry of an international Pentecostal church.
Thanks to our Rhodesian Ridgeback girl Luna, I get daily exercise no matter weather. I also manage individual dog training, specifically for Ridgeback owners.
