My name is Asiimwe Judith (Chef J), Founder of Chef J Oils
First of all, I want to thank the entire KWIB community for being more than simply a business forum. For me, this has been a place of transformation, healing, growth, structure, and genuine sisterhood.
Before KWIB, my life as an entrepreneur was honestly chaotic.
I was everywhere at the same time .. chasing opportunities, multitasking endlessly, handling different businesses without proper systems, moving from one urgent issue to another, and constantly feeling exhausted. I was working hard, but deep inside, I knew my businesses were surviving more on sacrifice and hustle than on structure and strategy.
Like many women, I wore too many hats. I was trying to be the manager, marketer, accountant, customer care team, operations department, and everything in between. There was passion, yes. There was talent, definitely. But there was very little order.
And the truth is, when you operate in survival mode for too long, you can start confusing busyness with growth.
That was me.
I had the vision. I had the drive. I had the businesses. But I lacked systems, clarity, positioning, and the kind of environment that stretches you into becoming a better entrepreneur.
Then I joined KWIB.
At first, I was hesitant because I had seen enough drama and unhealthy competition in other spaces. But from the moment I entered this community, I felt something different. The women here were intentional. Supportive. Focused. Growth-minded. It felt safe to dream again.
I am Judith Asiimwe, also known as Chef J, founder of Chef J Oils, alongside other growing business ventures in catering and entrepreneurship. And I can confidently say that KWIB became one of the turning points in my journey.
One of the biggest changes for me came through the KWIBA Academy trainings. Those sessions forced me to slow down and truly evaluate my businesses. I began to see the gaps I had ignored for years. I learned that passion alone is not enough β systems matter, structure matters, branding matters, professionalism matters.
Through mentorship, accountability, and honest but constructive feedback from fellow women in the community, I slowly started reorganizing my businesses from the inside out.
And the transformation has been incredible.
Today, I no longer feel like I am drowning in chaos. I move with more clarity, confidence, and direction. My businesses are becoming more structured, more intentional, and more visible.
KWIB didnβt just motivate me emotionally β it positioned me professionally.
The exposure and support from this community have opened doors for all my businesses. I have secured catering opportunities, major projects including work in Ggaba, and valuable connections that continue to grow my network and brand visibility.
Most importantly, the people and companies we have served have consistently appreciated our professionalism, quality, reliability, and delivery. That means everything to me because at Chef J Oils and in all the services we offer, excellence is personal. We believe in serving people with integrity, consistency, and heart.
I also want to specially thank Coach Purity Wako, who started this incredible community and continues to pour herself out selflessly for women like us. What inspires me most is that even in moments when we as members may disappoint, become inconsistent, or struggle to show up fully, she never gives up on us. She continues to encourage, teach, guide, pray, correct, and believe in women until they begin believing in themselves again. That kind of leadership is rare, and many of us are growing today because of her consistency and sacrifice.
What I love most about KWIB is that this community sees beyond the business card. People get to know the woman behind the brand. When I shared my story, including my daughterβs journey and the heart behind Chef J Oils, the support I received was genuine and overwhelming. The women here didnβt just clap for me β they stood with me.
Today, ..ChefJ Oils.. is no longer just an idea I am struggling to keep alive. It is growing into a trusted and respected brand, and I am deeply grateful for every woman in KWIB who has prayed with me, referred me, corrected me, encouraged me, and believed in me.
To every woman silently struggling to hold everything together while trying to build something meaningful β I want you to know this: sometimes the breakthrough is not working harder. Sometimes it is finding the right community, the right mentorship, and the right environment for your growth.
**KWIB.. became that place for me.
A place that took me from confusion to clarity.
From survival mode to intentional growth.
From being overwhelmed to becoming aligned.
And for that, I will always be grateful.
