NEWS FROM TANZANIA

From Arusha to Sumbawanga, our teams met farmers where farming happens.

At the 2026 Nanenane Agricultural Show, Corteva Agriscience participated across ten exhibition centres in Arusha, Tabora, Dodoma, Mbeya, Songea, Mwanza, Simiyu, Bukoba, Morogoro and Sumbawanga.

Thousands of farmers, industry stakeholders and agricultural partners engaged with our PANNAR® and Pioneer® seed portfolios. The strong response reflected what matters most in the field: high yield potential, resilience, adaptability across different agroecological zones and solutions shaped around farmers’ production needs.

Nanenane was also an important opportunity to listen. Through demonstrations, technical discussions and individual consultations, our teams gained deeper insight into farmers’ challenges while sharing practical agronomic guidance to improve productivity and profitability.

Thank you to our Country Leader, Charles Chuwa, for his leadership and support, to Joan Kenya, our ESCA Marketing Specialist, for sharing her valuable expertise, and to every team member whose commitment made our participation a success.

By putting farmers at the centre of everything we do, Corteva remains committed to supporting Tanzania’s food security and agricultural transformation.

At Corteva Agriscience, we believe the future of agriculture begins with education.

Across Africa and the Middle East, our programmes help young people build knowledge, skills and opportunities to grow. Through our internship programme, emerging talent can turn learning into hands on experience and explore a future in agriculture.

This International Youth Day, we celebrate the young minds growing what matters.

Good knowledge should never stop with one person.

Across Africa and the Middle East, every conversation in the field is an opportunity to share experience, strengthen decision making and help farming communities move forward. Because progress grows faster when what we learn is passed on, and what we gain creates value for others.

🇿🇲 News from Zambia

The 98th National Agriculture and Commercial Show kicked off yesterday, marking the start of six days of engagement with farmers, partners and industry stakeholders from across Zambia.

Under this year’s theme, “Fostering Trade and Investment”, our Pannar team in Zambia is showcasing reliable seed solutions and agronomic expertise that help farmers improve productivity and build more resilient farming businesses.

If you are attending the show, visit the Pannar stand and discover how Corteva Agriscience continues to partner with farmers to build a stronger future for agriculture in Zambia.

No single seed makes a harvest.

Across Africa and the Middle East, progress in agriculture has never been the work of one hand. It is growers, agronomists, researchers, distributors and communities all holding their row.

At Corteva, we back the people who show up before the rain. Because when the season turns, it is partnership that brings the harvest home.

Counterfeit seeds are a hidden crisis—failing to germinate, producing weak plants, and drastically reducing harvests. In fact, farmers can lose more than two-thirds of their expected yields due to fake seeds.

In some regions, up to 50% of seeds sold are counterfeit—meaning far less food on the table and a growing threat to food security.

At Corteva Agriscience, we believe every seed matters. That’s why we champion the use of certified, high-quality seeds to protect harvests, secure livelihoods, and feed communities.

NEWS FROM SOUTH AFRICA 🇿🇦

More than 500 attendees from over 40 farms joined us for Corteva's stewardship training sessions in the Northern Cape, South Africa, where farmers and farm workers gained practical knowledge on responsible product use, safe agricultural practices and sustainable farming operations.

To every farmer, farm worker and partner who showed up and shared so generously, thank you. Responsible agriculture is not built in boardrooms. It is built in the field, side by side, one conversation at a time.

✅ 500+ attendees
✅ 40+ farms represented
✅ One shared commitment to responsible farming

Here's to growing a culture of stewardship and knowledge sharing across South Africa and beyond.

News from Tanzania 🇹🇿

For smallholder farmers, the decision to try a new seed rarely starts with a brochure. It starts in the field, with their own eyes.

That is why our team in Tanzania keeps two things going all season long: farmer trainings that unpack the latest in our seed technology, and regular visits to our demo plots to see how our products are performing under real local conditions.
Seeing is believing. When a farmer can stand beside a demo plot and judge the crop for themselves, from cob to stalk to stand, they choose with confidence. And confident choices grow better harvests.

This is what putting farmers first looks like in practice. Not telling, showing.

The harvest always tells you who prepared. Happy Monday to the ones already in the field.
