This giant green turtle’s baby, one of the world’s seven different species of sea turtle, will grow up to be a metre-and-a-half-long specimen weighing up to 190kg.

The evergreen tree from which they grow has Chinese origins, but ‘s climate is so special that the most delicious and world-famous litchis grow here, with their sweet, firm flesh.

Like every kind of beauty, litchis is ephemeral: you can enjoy them in abundance, with malagasy women selling them on every street corner, but only for a very short time, between November and December.
