The team of Podium Macedonia was the event management team of professionals that was behind the organization of the 39th Global Fund Board Meeting in Skopje. The Global Fund is the world's largest financier of anti-AIDS, TB and malaria programs. As of July 2016, the organization had disbursed $30 billion to countries and communities in need. Programs supported by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria have saved 22 million lives. Some of the Global Fund’s best-known supporters and advocates are Ban Ki-Moon, Bill Gates, Bono, Bill Clinton, Tony Blair, Jeffrey Sachs, and Gro Harlem Brundtland.

In the past five months Podium was working on the event, the 39th Global Fund Board Meeting. Podium and Macedonia were hosts to 289 delegates, high dignitaries, from more than 80 countries from all over the world and a 6 days event agenda. We took part of their mission. We were granted with a certificate of excellence and high level of professionalism for the successful event management.

We love events, that is obvious. But when it comes to Christmas and New Years inspired events, this is our favorite. :)

Even though organized last minute, we know the secrets of a great event. This 2017 was a booming year for Podium, from the fifth edition of Skopje Street festival, to the organization of the biggest corporate event in Macedonia for 2017 "Family day" at Draxlmaier factory, CoE Conferences, the groundbreaking event of Cagatay Kablo to the unique "Game of Argeta" team building event in Bansko and many more... We hope 2018 will be as awesome as 2017, for us to have the chance and be the creators of even more unique event experiences, for our clients, for their clients, for everyone. May the new year bring unforgettable experiences to us all. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Podium had a representative at the ninth EIAT Conference, Regional brand platform, held last week at the University in Novi Sad, on this years subject "Sustainable Tourism, Entrepreneurship and Local Economic Development". Ms. Despina Kozarovska was presenting the ways of channeling the introduction of local products and services into the offer of the destination.
