✅ Job Summary
The Business Development Manager – Smart Fitness & Wellness is responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding market adoption of smart fitness and wellness solutions. This role focuses on connected fitness devices, wearables, digital wellness platforms, AI-powered training and health insights, and corporate wellness programs.
✅ Key Responsibilities
• Identify and develop new business opportunities for smart fitness and wellness products, including wearables, connected equipment, mobile apps, and digital platforms
• Build and manage relationships with gyms, fitness chains, wellness centres, corporate clients, insurers, and distribution partners
• Develop go-to-market strategies for consumer and enterprise wellness solutions
• Manage the full business development cycle: lead generation, needs analysis, solution positioning, proposals, and deal closure
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and technology teams to align product features with market needs and user experience
• Conduct market research on fitness, wellness, lifestyle technology trends, and competitor offerings
• Support pilot programs, product trials, and customer onboarding
• Negotiate commercial agreements, partnerships, and licensing deals
• Track sales pipeline, forecasts, and performance metrics using CRM tools
• Represent the company at fitness, wellness, lifestyle, and technology events
✅ Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Science, Health Management, or related field
• 3–7 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships in fitness, wellness, consumer tech, or digital platforms
• Experience selling B2B, B2B2C, or D2C fitness and wellness solutions
• Strong understanding of fitness and wellness ecosystems, consumer behaviour, and digital engagement
• Proven ability to close deals in competitive and fast-moving markets
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
