Prefeasibility Concept – Popa Mountain Resort Adventure Development

We The Adventure Centre did prefeasibility study for the Popa Mountain Resort, located near Mount Popa and within close proximity to Taung Kalat Pagoda, explores the development of an integrated eco-adventure tourism experience.

One of the most unique highlights of this concept is the proposed zipline installation, strategically aligned parallel to the Taung Kalat Pagoda. This design allows visitors to experience a rare combination of aerial adventure and spiritual landscape, where they can glide at height while enjoying uninterrupted panoramic views of the iconic monastery. The sensation of wind, elevation, and sacred scenery creates a distinctive tourism product not commonly found in the region.

In addition to the zipline, the project includes the development of:

High Rope Courses: Elevated obstacle challenges designed to enhance thrill, physical engagement, and team-building experiences.
Low Rope Courses: Ground-based activities suitable for families, beginners, and group programs, focusing on coordination and interaction.

These adventure elements are thoughtfully integrated into the natural mountainous terrain to ensure minimal environmental impact while maximizing visitor engagement.
