This year, we brought together 4 companies and the Ministry of Economy and Development of Mongolia joined this high-impact innovation platform.

*Ard Credit joined the Digital Payment panel, sharing insights on their technology and fintech experience.
*IntelMind won 1st place, and Smart Contracts Mongolia secured 3rd place, both advancing to the Grand Finale in Guangzhou this December.

It was an honor to join the Blue Sky Dialogue — Unlocking Mongolia’s Digital Opportunity as a panelist on Sep 8-9, 2025, alongside leaders from government, business, and the innovation community, co-hosted by Rio Tinto, Oyu Tolgoi, BCM and the Economic Development Board.

Speaking with an audience deeply connected to the mining industry, Gema drew a parallel: just as there can be no production without investment in exploration, there can be no strong digital economy without early-stage investment in startups. Building a vibrant ecosystem requires angel investors, venture capital firms, and fund-of-funds, supported by a society that embraces a risk-taking mindset.

We also discussed the potential of specialized clusters — in mining, agriculture, fintech, and beyond. We believe Mongolia has a unique opportunity to pioneer mining technology startups, testing them in real life at world-class operations like Oyu Tolgoi, and then scaling these solutions globally.
It was inspiring to see such a strong group of people in one room, united by the vision of unlocking Mongolia’s digital opportunity. After all, it takes a city to raise a startup.

We’re excited to share that our Managing Partner, Aza, participated in the “How to WOW Investors?” development seminar on April 18, co-hosted by Exponential Zaisan Partners and the University of Finance and Economics (UFE). The session brought together students from the Entrepreneurship and Financial Leadership programs to explore how to effectively prepare and deliver an investor pitch, manage time as a young founder, attract investment for early-stage startups, and take part in global opportunities like the Startup World Cup. Aza spoke about the real challenges and opportunities of startup fundraising, while offering practical guidance and encouragement to students seeking to launch or grow their ventures.
