The CNMI SBDC Network invites you to join “Building Beyond Recovery,” a one-day summit focused on helping women-owned businesses prepare for disasters, strengthen business continuity, and recover with greater confidence.

Following the challenges brought by Super Typhoons Sinlaku and Bavi, preparation is more important than ever. Gain practical knowledge, learn from industry experts, and connect with resources to help protect your business and build a more resilient future. Must be 18 or older and a registered CNMI SBDC client.

𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐁𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐬🛡️

Cohort I Innovators in the CNMI Innovation Incubator Program successfully completed the Business Emergency Preparedness Workshop, the fifth and final module of the program’s five part Entrepreneurship & Business Development training series, delivered in collaboration with the Northern Marianas College Center for Training and Innovation.

Led by Luis Camacho and Camille Orallo, owners of eL.yU.aI.eS. Consulting LLC, the workshop focused on helping businesses prepare for emergencies, protect critical resources, maintain essential operations, and plan for recovery.

Innovators explored business continuity through preparation, response, and recovery, including how to anticipate disruptions, protect inventory, document damage, and adapt operations when essential resources or personnel are unavailable.

“We want our entrepreneurs to not only build successful businesses, but also have the knowledge and resources to protect what they have built and recover when challenges arise,” said Cherese Palacios, Program Manager of the CNMI Innovation Incubator Program. “A plan on paper only helps if people know how to carry it out. This workshop gave them the chance to test theirs before they need it.”

The CNMI Innovation Incubator Program continues to equip local entrepreneurs with practical training, mentorship, resources, and tools designed to help them build stronger and more resilient businesses. 🚀

Innovators in the CNMI Innovation Incubator Program Cohort I successfully completed the Market Expansion & Revenue Strategies Workshop, the fourth module of the program’s five-part strategic training series, delivered by the Northern Marianas College Center for Training and Innovation.

Facilitated by Joe C. Guerrero, MBA, the workshop focused on identifying growth opportunities, validating market demand, strengthening revenue strategies, and preparing businesses to scale sustainably.

Innovators explored practical growth pathways, new sales channels, revenue diversification, and ways to test opportunities before making significant investments. Each participant also developed a 90-Day Growth Action Plan to guide their next steps.

“Growth is not simply about doing more. It is about making intentional decisions about where the business can create value, generate revenue, and operate sustainably,” said Cherese Palacios, Program Manager of the CNMI Innovation Incubator Program.

Meet 𝗝𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝘂𝗶𝘇, founder of Paradise Lyric House, one of the innovators in Cohort 1 of the CNMI Innovation Incubator Program.

Through the CNMI Innovation Incubator, Jordan gained the support and resources to strengthen his business, grow his brand, and bring greater visibility to his work. The experience helped him move beyond simply creating music and begin thinking more intentionally about how to build a sustainable business around his passion.

Jordan’s journey shows how a passion can become a business with the right guidance, resources, and support. His continued growth through Paradise Lyric House reflects the possibilities that can come from taking a creative idea and developing it into something sustainable.
