Engineering Services Ltd Engineering Services Ltd was established in 1988 and provides building services consultancy and engineering design for major construction works.

The job entails:
1) Testing of electrical installations and systems
2) Preparation of Drawings, BOQs etc
3) Works Supervision on Site

Interested candidates should be in possession of an A&B Licence and preferably have followed a draughtsman course with working knowledge of Autocad. Candidates shall have O Level in English and possess a valid driver licence.

What are Building Services and What do we do at our practice?

Imagine yourself in the most fabulous building in the world. Now take away the lighting, heating and ventilation, the lifts and escalators, acoustics, plumbing, power supply and energy management systems, the security and safety systems. You are left in a cold, dark uninhabitable shell. Building Services Engineers really do “bring buildings to life”.

And what are we doing at present? We have a range of projects among which are Bank Branches, office complexes where we are finalising Ewropa Centre in B'Kara Bypass and MIDI T14 Prestigeous Buildings, we are designing the largest Data Centre in Malta, after having previously designed that for MITA and for BOV plc, we are constantly supplying solutions to upgrade building services.

The Malta Enterprise has embarked on the building of a partially EU-funded project to develope a business hub aimed at attracting more high tech companies to Gozo mainly for R+D purposes. Our practice is proud to be working on this project along with a team led by Med Design Consultants.

Recently inaugurated is the new Bank of Valletta premises at 218-220, Triq ix-Xatt Gzira. The new building houses the BOV branch and Investment Centre which service the local community, as well as the Bank’s Ethics and Employee Development function and Training Centre, which have been relocated from Valletta.

Once more, our practice was responsable for the design and technical supervision of the building services in these premises.

The Zejtun Exchange property, measuring circa 10,240m², is set within the Bulebel Industrial Estate. It is the largest site that the GO Group occupies, in terms of area, the number of land lines that are terminated there, and the core equipment installed. It is also in close proximity to an Enemalta distribution centre, making it ideal as the GO Group’s main technical hub.

MPC aims to retain and renovate the structures within the Eastern portion of the property and to develop the remaining property into offices for the GO Group and a data centre and offices for BMIT Ltd, a subsidiary of GO p.l.c. principally engaged in the provision of data, cloud and managed services.

Engineering Services Ltd are the appointed Consultants for all the facilities within this complex.
