Air Quality testing
According to WHO, air pollution is one the most harmful environmental risks to human health which can cause both long term and short term health complications. The main air pollutants include: particulate matter, ozone, nitrogen oxides and sulfur oxides.
Particulate matter are airborne particles such as dirt, dust and smoke which can be emitted by vehicles, factories, construction works and combustion. There are 2 types of particulate pollution: PM10 and PM2.5 both of which are inhalable with the latter causing greater health risks.
How can we help?
We at EMS Ltd. are able to test and monitor a variety of air pollutants such as those emitted by factories, traffic and construction works.
We can offer provide real-time air quality monitoring through our specialised equipment through our Fence-line monitoring services: A laser is casted across an area in order to monitor gases which come into contact with the beam, such as across a road to monitor the level of gases emitted by vehicles or across a shipping port to monitor gasses being emitted by each ship which enters the port. Such a process does not require frequent site visits, making the monitoring process hassle free and streamline.
