🇲🇹Kmieni dalghodu l-Pulizija, bl-assistenza tal-Aġenzija tas-Servizzi tad-Detenzjoni, arrestat 22 persuna wara li nstabu li kienu qed jgħixu f’pajjiżna llegalment.
L-arresti saru waqt spezzjonijiet fl-akwati ta’ Blata l-Bajda, il-Ħamrun u l-Marsa kif ukoll saru numru ta' spezzjonijiet f’residenzi privati fil-Marsa, il-Ħamrun, il-Fgura u r-Rabat.
Dawn il-persuni huma min-Niġerja, l-Indja, il-Ghana, il-Gambja, is-Senegal, il-Cameroon u mill-Kosta tal-Avorju. Huma ttieħdu f’Ċentru ta’ Detenzjoni sakemm jitlesta l-proċess ta’ ritorn tagħhom.
🇬🇧Early this morning, the Police, with the assistance of the Detention Services Agency, arrested 22 individuals who were found to be residing in Malta illegally.
The arrests were carried out during inspections in the areas of Blata l-Bajda, Ħamrun, and Marsa, while a number of inspections were also conducted at private residences in Marsa, Ħamrun, Fgura, and Rabat.
The individuals are nationals of Nigeria, India, Ghana, Gambia, Senegal, Cameroon, and Côte d’Ivoire. They were taken to a Detention Centre, where they will remain until their return process is completed.
