☕️What is Coffee?☕️
The coffee beans you pour into your grinder every morning are the roasted seeds of the coffee plant. Coffee plants are flowering shrubs that produce berries. Though they’re called cherries, these fruits aren’t related to the kind of cherry you might put in a pie. When these cherries ripen, coffee growers pick them and process them, removing the fruit and letting the green coffee beans inside dry out.
Before they get to you, a roaster typically buys those green coffee beans and roasts them. Now they’re the aromatic brown bean you recognize!

Fruits vs Vegetables
You probably have a pretty good idea of what fruits and vegetables are — but maybe not an accurate one! It doesn’t come down to savory vs sweet like you might expect.

Vegetables are the edible part of a plant — like a carrot, parsnip, or onion. Fruits are the reproductive product of a plant, not an actual part of it, which means they have seeds inside them — like an apple or a banana. That definition puts tomatoes and squashes solidly in the fruit category!

Is Coffee a Fruit?
So is coffee a fruit? Coffee cherries are fruits because they’re the seed-containing product of the coffee plant, not an actual part of the plant like the root. Coffee plants produce fruit, and coffee beans grow inside that fruit. So some parts of coffee are fruits — strange, right?

And Are Coffee Beans a Fruit?
No, coffee beans themselves aren’t fruit. The fruit part of the plant is long gone by the time you’re looking at a roasted coffee bean. It’s sort of like tossing out the fleshy part of the peach and eating only the pit — but in this case, the pit is the only tasty part of the fruit!

☕️ESPRESSO BAR BLEND☕️

Espresso coffee, whole bean

Blend ratio: 50% Arabica beans / 50% Robusta beans

A hazelnut brown espresso with mottled stripes awaits you behind this fine packaging. The roasting masters of Oro Caffè have once again demonstrated all their skills in this blend and created a mixture that captivates with its unique full-bodiedness and clearly tangible chocolate note. The slow and gentle drum roasting process allows the master roasters to extract the best characteristics from each of the many different types of raw beans. Thus, an espresso can taste strong and sweet or nutty and chocolaty at the same time. On the palate, Espresso Bar is incredibly creamy and very smooth on the finish. This makes it the perfect coffee for in between.

With this classic from the house of Oro Caffè, you can really taste the over 30 years of experience in selecting and roasting out.

Enjoy this premium coffee as a tasty espresso or as a base for cappuccino or latte macchiato.
Suitable for portafilter as well as for fully automatic coffee machines.

☕️Espresso vs Americano: What’s the Difference?

☕️What is espresso?
Espresso is straight coffee concentrate, usually enjoyed straight or with a sprinkle of sugar. It has a full, strong coffee flavor and is known for its intensity. A shot of espresso is, on average, one ounce. Some people prefer more espresso and drink a doppio (double shot) or even a triple shot.

☕️What is an Americano?
Americanos are espresso shots combined with hot water. This process results in a less concentrated flavor and can dissipate some of the bitterness found in straight espressos. Americanos also have more liquid, so they’re better to sip on than espresso. A typical Americano may range from eight ounces up to 20.
Because they’re larger and less concentrated, Americanos approximate regular drip or pour-over coffee. They may be served with sugar or cream.

☕️Caffeine level☕️
Because they’re made with the same amount of espresso, espresso shots and single-shot Americanos usually have the same total amount of caffeine. Per ounce, a shot of espresso will have more caffeine because it’s more concentrated.

☕️ 7 Differences Between Arabica and Robust Coffee

Here are seven important contrasts:

- Arabica is weaker in strength, containing around half as much caffeine as robusta.
- Arabica tastes sweeter and smoother, whereas robusta is generally more bitter and harsher.
- Robusta has more body than arabica.
- Arabica is more expensive than robusta to buy.
- Arabica plants require much more semi-skilled manual work during cultivation, because they grow on high slopes and do not like rough handling. The cultivation process for robusta is generally much more mechanized because it can be grown on flat plains.
- Robusta plants are hardier. Arabica plants are far more vulnerable to pests and diseases.
- Arabica was discovered in Ethiopia. - Robusta was discovered in Zaire.
