Individual tax deadline postponed for 30 October 2026

The Mauritius Revenue Authority (MRA) wishes to inform individual taxpayers who are not able to submit their income tax returns by the statutory deadline of 15 October 2026, that no penalty and interest will be applied for late submission of return and late payment of tax, provided that the return is submitted and the tax payable, if any, is paid on or before ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ ๐ฏ๐ฌ ๐ข๐ฐ๐๐ผ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ.
The public is also informed that, in view of the Curfew Order applicable, the office will be closed today at 16:30 hrs instead of 20:00 hrs as originally announced.
