I want you to stop working for free.

If your business is pulling in six or seven figures and you personally are barely making it by; there is something wrong with your business model. So let’s fix it!

Three common mistakes I see entrepreneurs make:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. "LUXURY" OVERHEAD
This can include anything from the fancy commercial space to those splurges entrepreneurs make that the business simply cannot sustain. These are the items that LOOK great to others around you but you don't have the volume of revenue to be supporting these types of purchases (usually non-investment based) to cover the cost.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. TEAM HEADCOUNT(includes 1099 + w2):
If you are contracting out a large volume of your work and you haven't factored that into your margins- you are not making money. There is a formula to layering in your team and a strategic approach that can give your business a high return a.k.a making you personally a lot more income.

3. INVESTMENTS GONE WRONG:
If you are making investments (which you should be) but don't have a clear approach as to what the outcome NEEDS to be in order for you to see a return or you are not making them in the right order, you will be out tens of thousands of dollars that could have been money in your pocket. On the flip side, if you are making the right investments -you can have your money working for you which can see substantial return and increased margins.

Three things to think about when you make decisions (large or small) for the growth of your business;
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. Alignment- every decision you make should be in complete alignment with where you want the future of the business to be. Often times we go with the option that gives us immediate gratification rather than what's necessary for the long term growth plan.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. Beliefs- you've been told to trust your gut a thousand times and this is where your fundamental beliefs come into play. It has to feel right. Now this doesn't necessarily mean comfortable but it does mean that you morally and ethically believe in the decisions you are making. For me faith plays a substantial role in my day to day business. Decisions come easy when I trust in what I believe and have God as my compass.

3. Impact- how will your decisions impact not only the business, but your clients and yourself personally. This goes back to making decisions that deliver instant growth or satisfaction. These will catch up with you and have major impact on the future development of your brand.

Having a birthday at the beginning of January pretty much sucks....
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
so I have never been a huge birthday person.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As I have gotten older and my girlfriends and I start to inch towards 40, it seems all the sudden everyone hates their birthday. As in, if we don't talk about it maybe it won't happen 🤣
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Call me crazy but I am loving getting older. I am loving this stage of life that I am in and how all the lessons of the past have transformed me.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As I get older, I have found an incredible strength within me that gets me through difficult situations and a mindset that doesn't sweat the small stuff in life.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
After delivering twins and surviving the first few years as a mother, I have days where I feel like a total badass! 💪🏻
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The friendships and relationships I have going back decades are stronger than ever and we now find ourselves supporting one another through major life changes and losses. Friendships so deep we have become family.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I am now at a stage in my life where I look back on all the struggles and can confidently appreciate the experiences because that is what got me here. Without all the hardship, I would be totally different person.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So although I will probably need more botox...I am looking forward to really owning exactly who I am this year and appreciating that God has given me another year of this beautiful life.

Looking back on 2020 accomplishments;

My revenue INCREASED by 358% from 2019.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I was an advisor to 46 businesses and increased their PROFIT margins across the board.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I spoke to THOUSANDS of entrepreneurs across multiple industries and platforms including national design conference.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I personally INVESTED tens of thousands of dollars in all aspects of my business and my team.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I increased my rates THREE times.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Collectively my clients exchanged HUNDREDS of thousands of dollars in business with one another in the community I built.

I am heading into 2021 with a GUARANTEE of a third of what I did in revenue this year.

I was selected to sit on the prestigious FORBES council.

Took a dream vacation with my husband to BORA BORA.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And worked my damn ass off for all of it.

I knew this year was going to be a huge push for me. Going into 2020 I was determined to work incredibly hard to make a name for myself in a saturated market. I didn't know that a virus would have major impact on the plans I laid out but I navigated through it and assisted my clients as well.

These things didn't happen overnight.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It wasn't luck.

I don't have a special advantage over you or anyone else.

I was determined.

I stayed the course.

Trusted the process.

Burned ideas to the ground when they didn't work.
