WHAT TO CONSIDER WHEN YOU LAUNCH SOMETHING AND NO ONE RESPONDS
First off, now is not the time to give up; now is the time to shift gears and make your next launch the most successful yet! The following are only a few of the things to consider if you have not achieved the results you desire with your most recent launch.
1. HAVE YOU TAKEN TIME TO COMPLETE IDEAL CLIENT RESEARCH AND DO YOU FULLY UNDERSTAND THE SOLUTION YOU ARE OFFERING?
It is extremely important that before you launch any product or service that you have taken the adequate time needed to fully understand the problem you are solving for your ideal client. The market buys solutions. If you have dry skin, you look for the best moisturizing cream; if you have a lack of knowledge around building a wordpress website, you look for a course that teaches you how to build a wordpress website; if you want to build a business, you look for a coach to teach you how to build business. In order for your IC to purchase from you, you must fully understand the impact your solution will have for your IC.
2. ARE YOU PROPERLY COMMUNICATING THE BENEFITS AND RESULTS YOUR IDEAL CLIENT CAN EXPECT FROM YOUR SOLUTION?
If you have taken the time to get to know your audience and understand where they are struggling or experiencing difficulty, then you need to evaluate your communication or marketing message. Are you effectively communicating the benefits or results your solution offers. For ex. if I have dry skin, I want to know that the lotion I am going to purchase is going to A) be lightweight and non-greasy B) show improved results of dry skin immediately C) contain an SPF. If the marketing does not communicate this to me, I will look for a product that does. Again, this goes back to understand your IC.
3. ARE YOU BUILDING ENGAGEMENT (aka A RELATIONSHIP) BY SPEAKING WITH YOUR AUDIENCE OR ARE YOU BROADCASTING TO THEM?
When your IC is buying a service, they prefer to buy from someone who has taken the time to build a relationship with them. The best way to do that is through direct conversation; however, that is not always possible if your IC is not visible or active on your social media platforms or email list. This means that you must be building the relationship by consistently showing up, providing them with value and opening the conversation. You have to become creative and again this goes back to knowing your niche inside and out. Your IC wants to feel supported and know that you are there to provide the guidance needed to succeed. If you are constantly broadcasting to them (not teaching, not sharing your story, not adding value, not asking questions) they are going to subconsciously believe that you feel "superior" and are not there to serve.
4. HAVE YOU ESTABLISHED YOURSELF AS AN EXPERT WITHIN YOUR INDUSTRY AND PROVIDED YOUR AUDIENCE WITH ENOUGH VALUE TO BUILD TRUST?
If your IC does not trust you, they will not buy from you. Building brand authority and establishing credibility takes times and consistency. It is extremely important that you show up every single day and: teach. provide value. be authentic. serve. help your IC learn. lead the way. support. remain open. If you have not does this, you are not ready to launch anything. Trust comes from consistency and honesty. It is critical to your success that you serve your audience before you expect them to buy anything from you.
5. DO YOU BELIEVE TO THE DEPTH OF YOUR SOUL IN YOUR PROGRAM OR PRODUCT AND ARE YOU GIVING 100% EFFORT INTO BUILDING MOMENTUM WITH YOUR LAUNCH?
If you have even an ounce of doubt that your program is not powerful or life changing then your IC will sense that. You have to show up with complete enthusiasm throughout your entire launch. Unless you have a sales team, building a business requires you to sell. The most important part of the selling process is transferring your emotion to your audience. Remember, you created your program or product from the group up. You should be incredibly proud to show that baby off and get your IC excited about the transform that is about to happen when they purchase what it is you are offering them.
If you have created a program or product and recently launched it with dismal results, I would love to help you restructure your launch for success. Together we will completely audit your launch and restructure it with a clearly defined action plan.
