Mawlid An-Nabi or Maulidul Rasul (commonly in Malaysia) is celebrated by Muslims all over the world to commemorate the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), in full Abu al-Qāsim Muhammad ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAbd al-Muttalib ibn Hāshim was born in Mecca on the 12th rabi’al-awwal of the lunar calendar.
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), is the last messenger of God, the best role model to humans with the morals of Holy Qur’an. He is good mannered, generous, selfless, humble, patience and always reminded Muslims on being kind and benevolent.
