Me: (See the name tag of an elderly crew serving at the counter) Hi Maler! How's your day?

Elderly Crew: "Good" as she smiles and gets ready to take my order.

Me: "You have been working here for a long time?"

Elderly Crew: "13 years" she utters with a happy face and her faint eyes.

Me: "Wow...So, you serve behind the main counter and the Sundae counter too?"

Elderly Crew: "No..I am just happy to be here only servicing Sundae Cone. What would you like to have?"

Me: I was thinking what a dedication to her "small duty". "Well...I want a Strawberry Sundae Cone."

Elderly Crew: "That's all?"

Me: "Yup.. that's all?" as I transact the payment.

Elderly Crew: "Here you go" as she smiles.

Me: "Thank you".

I walked away thinking about a quote that stated "If you find it hard to do great things, do small things in a great way".

She has definitely done small things in a great way with her dedication and a servitude character, and constantly ringing the ice cream bell.

Before I left the place, I dropped by at the outlet counter and had a quick conversation with her and told her she was doing a good job.

“Eh, I thought YOU doing?”
“No meh? I thought YOU already settle.”
Awkward silence… 😐

Next thing you know:
Email tone jadi lain
Meeting jadi tegang
Work slow like Monday morning traffic 🚗

Honestly, most office fights bukan sebab orang jahat.
It’s because tak clarify from the start.

3 Cara Kurangkan Office Drama (Confirm Boleh Pakai)

Step One!
Clarify dulu, jangan terus kebaboooom.
Before say “dia memang problem,” check instruction clear or not.
Many quarrel is reduced when expectation is clear.

Step Two!
Talk early, jangan simpan sampai jadi basi!
Keep inside too long, nanti explode.
Better talk when small issue — bukan tunggu jadi bom 💣

Step Three!
Fix cara kerja, bukan salahkan orang.
Same problem repeat? Means system rosak, bukan manusia rosak.

Office work already stressful.
Kurangkan episod drama tak payah tambah lagi lah 😄

📼There are things I keep for a very long time because it has quality and beautiful memories that I cherished very much. One of the things that I kept for a long time is this guitar. It has been with me for about 20 years. It was recommended to me by a church buddy that is also a musician.

🎸Playing guitar is one of my ways to just enjoy music and to relax. I enjoy singing more than playing it. My playing is very simple with basic guitar chords. Till today I don't know how to read music notes, shame shame. Whenever I like a song, I will search for the chords on the internet and start following the chords and sing along.

Well this guitar has witnessed many of my life changing moments and very fond memories , 20 years being together, can you imagine?

🧥I have a suit that is 25 years old and still looks good and the material is really good. Maybe next time, I will share the suit.

🎒There are things worth keeping because it unfolds many life lessons and it always reminds me of something timeless, life changing, and powerful.

📓Another thing I kept is my late brother's Bible, I lost my Bible many years ago, so the Bible that I am reading now is my late brother's Bible. It reminds me of him once in a while.

📌However, there are things that I don't keep and I had to force myself to throw it away. I remember I was moving out from a house where ALL of my things in that house have to be moved out in a very short period of time. I had to decide and detached my emotion from many things that I threw.

📌What I discovered from the things that I have and disposed of, is, our minds and lives can be decluttered from all sorts of experiences and moments. We can't live an effective live if we are cluttered with all sorts of negative things.

📌There will come a time that I have to decide, enough is enough. It's too cluttered and I am running out of space and energy to contain it. If it continues, it only brings more burden and feels demotivating.

📌Everything that comes across our path serves a reason. When the time is due, the season is over, I see what truly matters and why IT HAS TO HAPPEN AND IT HAS TO CROSS MY PATH!

🤲🏻I am thankful because God is all knowing. He sees what I can't see, and He knows what is hidden behind the scenes and the motives behind it.

What are the things that you are still keeping that doesn't bring values to you and it's slowing you down?
It may take time to get rid of it, BUT YOU MUST ACT ON IT. Take up the courage to ditch the extra things that no longer serve your life purpose.

⚠️It's gonna be hard and it will trigger you when you are deciding to throw it away.

🤲🏻I prayed and asked God for strength to be willing to throw away the things that I don't need any longer.

So, next time if you feel cluttered, confused, slowed down, demotivated, always in a worry mode, IT'S TIME TO DECLUTTERED YOUR THINGS AND LIVES.

⚠️What's going on?
Let me tell you what's going on.

💧My car was sent for a due service and had it washed inside out at the service center. I was happy to drive away with a big smile because of the well serviced and fresh clean scent of the car. The car just felt perfect and clean.

🚙As I was driving home, Waze had me passed by a stretch of Durians Sellers. It was stall after stall and it really looked like a Durian feast. Well, you know I couldn't help but to stop by and check it out.

🤔 Then I was thinking "Maybe I should just skip and get Durians next week or so because I don't want my car to catch the smell of durian, since the car was washed, cleaned, and has a nice scent.

The smell is different while you are eating it, and when you are not eating it okay.

Now, I thought having it tightly tied in the plastic bags and placing it at the boot, I can avoid the smell traveling to the front of the driver's cabin. So the car can be smell-proof from the Durians.

😱 I WAS WRONG! In just less than 1 minute of driving, the cabin smells as if I am selling Durians. Durians are still Durians, their character never change. Can't blame Durians because that's how it is.

😱 What made it worse, was the traffic is really bad, the Durians stayed with me for 1.5 hours. I was like "Since the smell has come all over me, might as well just stop by at any petrol station and indulge some of it. But that would make the smell even stronger, so I didn't stop and headed back home."

🤪It has been 3 days, the smell of Durians has overtaken the fresh ,clean, and nice scent of my car.

I had to open all the doors and the boot and wait for it to ventilate. Even then, anyone would know I had Durians in the car if they sat in my car.

As I was waiting for some ventilation to take place while the doors and boot wide opened, something came to my mind as if it was an allegory.

✅Be careful of who or what you let into your zone or life.

✅If an error of decision has taken place, it will take time and troublesome work to undo the error.

✅The longer it lingers around you, the longer it takes to removed it.

✅The residue of the negative impact can still linger on for a long time, and you may need to be patient to let time and natural ventilation take place to totally removed it.

✅ Sometimes the residue doesn't go away, BUT THE LIFE CHANGING LESSON STAYS FOREVER.

✅ The responsibilities of getting rid of the residue is in your hands. No way someone else can get rid for you.

🤗So, did I enjoyed the Durians? Definitely Yes!

👫It was so much and I even shared it with the security guards and a friend of mine. The guard was so happy to see Durians.

PS: Enjoy your fresh clean car after it is washed, scented and cleaned. Don't waste your money.
