While waiting for Dana in the car today, I rewatched Gretchen’s YL Summit session: Mission-Driven Business: Building a Legacy of Impact.
This was my second time watching it because I remembered missing the beginning the first time around.
What surprised me was that I still felt emotional.
The stories Gretchen shared—the taxi driver, the values her parents lived out, and the legacy they left behind—touched my heart deeply.
A few lines stayed with me:
✨ “When giving grows from one to many, simple kindness turns into something greater.”
✨ “We are not building an income. We are building capacity.”
Capacity to help.
Capacity to heal.
Capacity to lead.
Capacity to leave the world better than we found it.
Sometimes it’s easy to get caught up in numbers, goals, and promotions. But today reminded me that what we’re really building is impact.
I also loved the oiling session with Gretchen using Abundance, Believe, Highest Potential, and Gratitude.
As I sat there reflecting, one thought kept coming to me:
💛 I have more than enough to share.
💛 I live in abundance so that I can give abundance.
💛 The more we pour into others, the more lives we can touch.
Thank you, Gretchen, for the reminder that a mission-driven business is not just about what we earn, but about the legacy we leave behind.
《Mission-Driven Business:Building a Legacy of Impact》
Abundance.
Believe.
Highest Potential.
Gratitude.
