Many businesses believe that having more assets means the company is financially strong. 📈

Yes — assets can provide long-term stability and business value.

🏣Properties, equipment, inventory, and investments help businesses grow and build wealth over time.

However, one important question remains:
“How liquid are those assets?” 💵

A company may own millions worth of assets but still struggle to:
• Pay suppliers on time
• Maintain monthly operations
• Handle emergencies
• Support expansion opportunities

Why?

Because not all assets can be converted into cash quickly. 💰💰💰

This is where liquidity becomes critical.

Good finance management is not only about growing assets.
It is about balancing:
✔ Asset growth
✔ Cash flow strength
✔ Working capital
✔ Operational sustainability

In business, liquidity is like oxygen.
A company may look strong on paper, but without healthy cash flow, operations can become unstable.

📍 Strong assets build value.
📍 Strong liquidity keeps the business alive.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mothers around the world. 🌸

Behind every strong family, there is often a mother carrying silent courage, endless sacrifice, and unconditional love.

A mother’s journey is never easy.
It is filled with sleepless nights, emotional battles, constant worries, and countless moments of putting others before herself.

Yet somehow, mothers continue to move forward with strength that words can hardly describe.

As I grow older, I realise that motherhood is not only about caring for children.
It is about:
✨ Sacrificing comfort for the happiness of the family
✨ Staying strong even during difficult seasons
✨ Giving love even when feeling exhausted
✨ Carrying responsibilities quietly without asking for recognition

To every mother:
Thank you for your courage.
Thank you for your patience.
Thank you for the sacrifices that often go unseen.

Today is a reminder that mothers are not just caregivers.
They are the heart of the family, the emotional strength behind many success stories, and one of the greatest examples of resilience and humanity.

Happy Mother’s Day. ❤️

Happy Labour Day..Or should we say Happy Employees Day?

I remember one of my former bosses once shared a perspective that stayed with me.

He said: The word “Labour” may carry a lower perception in today’s society. We are no longer “Labour” - we are employees, contributors, professionals.

From that day on, he made it at a point to wish everyone:
👉”Happy Employees Day”

A small change in words, but a powerful shift in respect and mindset.

It reminded me that leadership is not just about results -
It’s about how we value people.

Grateful to have learned from a mentor who leads with both excellence and humanity.

When Steve Jobs died, the narrative was simple.

No visionary.
No future.

Then came Tim Cook.

Not a product genius.
Not a designer.

A supply chain operator.

That’s the pivot.

Apple didn’t need reinvention.
It needed optimization.

Here’s the mechanism.

Cook turned operations into leverage.

Faster production cycles.
Better supplier negotiation.
Tighter inventory control.

That reduced costs…
while maintaining premium pricing.

Margins expanded.

Then he scaled the ecosystem.

Services.
Subscriptions.
Recurring revenue layered on top of hardware.

That changed the model.

From one-time purchases…
to continuous income.

At the same time, global expansion accelerated.

China manufacturing.
Worldwide distribution.
Retail dominance.

That’s how Apple moved from around $350 billion…
to touching $4 trillion in value.

Not through disruption.

Through precision.

Because once a great product exists…

the next level isn’t invention.

It’s scaling the system behind it so efficiently…

that no competitor can match the output.

“If this continues, I may have to resign.”
⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️
In that moment of stress, she said to me.

Recently, I encountered this situation in my team.

She was overwhelmed due to workload, at the same time felt that the colleagues is not supportive.

And honestly, I understand where that comes from. But as a leader, I also see another side.
When the word “resign” is brought into the conversation, it unintentionally shift the tone.

It moves from➡️I need help to ➡️ I might leave if it doesn’t change.

———

After she calm down, I told her:
💭 A different approach would be better

At a more mature working level, the conversation could be
✅What exactly is causing the overload
✅What support you need
✅What can be improve or restructure
✅How can we solve this together

📍Because I believe the goal is not just to release the stress, but to solve the situation.

💭From a leadership perspective

Words carry weight.
If this word of “resignation” is used to easily, over time it may affect:
❗️Trust
❗️Perception of commitment
❗️Team Dynamics

⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

My takeaways for anyone who’s stress out there:
At the end of the way,
A strong team is not the one without stress
But one that knows how to communicate through it.

💡 When Hopelessness Starts Making Bad Decisions Look Logical

I’ve seen it happen.

Management sets unrealistic targets just to push sales.
Cuts all promotional support to protect margins… but still expects the same results.
Reduces staff welfare and claims in the name of cost control.

You may say:
👉 “The company is under pressure.”

And yes —
👉 it looks logical at the moment.

But in reality…
💥 it is damaging the business in the long run.

⚖️ What happens next?

Your people start thinking the same way.

When leadership normalises pressure-driven decisions,
👉 employees begin to justify their own.

🔻 The chain reaction:

1️⃣ Unrealistic targets
→ Sales start taking loss-making deals just to hit numbers

2️⃣ Pressure to close
→ Heavy discounts become “acceptable”

3️⃣ No promotional tools
→ Sales disengage or let potential customers go
(to prove a point or due to lack of support)

4️⃣ Short-term focus
→ Risks are ignored to show results

5️⃣ Cutting staff welfare
→ Employees reduce effort
→ “If the company doesn’t value me, why should I give more?”

💬 And this doesn’t only happen in business.

Look at society today.

We often say:
👉 “Young people don’t save.”

But have we asked why?

When:

* Wages grow slowly
* Housing prices rise faster
* Loan interest keeps increasing

👉 Saving starts to feel… pointless.

So spending becomes the “logical” choice.

Not because it’s right —
👉 but because the system makes it feel that way.

⚖️ Final Thought

When people lose hope,
👉 they don’t stop making decisions.

They just start making decisions
that help them cope, not grow.

⬇️⬇️⬇️

💡 And in business, culture works the same way.

👉 If leadership drives short-term pressure,
people will respond with short-term thinking.

And eventually…
the numbers will reflect it.

💬 If this feels familiar, you’re not alone.
Have you experienced similar situations in your organisation or daily life?

Let’s discuss.
