IKRAM at Simposium Pengurusan Strata 2026

On 25 June 2026, IKRAM Works Sdn. Bhd. was honoured to participate in Simposium Pengurusan Strata 2026, organised by Majlis Perbandaran Hulu Selangor (MPHS) at GEO Resort & Hotel, Genting Highlands.

Our Chief Executive Officer, Dato' Ir. Ts. Hj. Mohd Taufik Bin Haron, was invited as a speaker and panelist, delivering a presentation titled "When Slopes Become a Crisis: Who is Truly Responsible?"

The session highlighted the challenges of hilly developments, the importance of rigorous geotechnical assessments, the role of Building Information Modelling (BIM) in creating safer and more sustainable developments, and the shared responsibility of all stakeholders in managing slope risks. The presentation also emphasised integrity and ethical engineering practices through the principles of Maqasid Syariah.

Following the presentation, Dato' Taufik joined fellow experts in the forum "Advancing Strata Management Practices", chaired by TPr. Gs. Azlina from the Commissioner of Buildings (COB), MPHS. The forum provided an excellent platform to exchange ideas on strengthening strata management and enhancing the safety and resilience of developments.

IKRAM extends its sincere appreciation to MPHS for the invitation and the opportunity to contribute towards advancing sustainable, resilient, and responsible development practices.

IKRAM Welcomes GTR for Technical Visit & Knowledge Sharing Session

On 22 May 2026, IKRAM Headquarters in Kajang welcomed Geo Technology Resource (GTR) Sdn. Bhd. for a technical visit and presentation session attended by IKRAMโ€™s Construction & BIM Division.

The session featured company presentations by both IKRAM and GTR, with discussions focusing on Geological Digitalization and Subsurface Mapping for Sustainable Urban Development in Kuala Lumpur. GTR shared their expertise in geological mapping, digitalization, geophysical applications, and sustainable urban development.

The insightful session highlighted strong synergy between GTRโ€™s technologies and IKRAMโ€™s expertise, opening opportunities for future enhancement and collaboration. The visit concluded with a fruitful discussion and group photo session.

IKRAM Works Sdn Bhd proudly participated as an exhibitor at PERSIDANGAN PEGAWAI KANAN JKR MALAYSIA 2026 (SOC2026) held from 6โ€“8 May 2026 at Royale Chulan Seremban.

Throughout the event, IKRAM showcased its expertise in engineering consultancy, material testing, slope engineering, data collection, and innovative digital engineering solutions. A key highlight was the presentation by our BIM Department, demonstrating how Building Information Modelling (BIM) supports smarter project delivery, better coordination, improved asset management, and sustainable infrastructure development in line with the Ministry of Worksโ€™ digital transformation initiatives.

The exhibition also provided valuable opportunities for networking, knowledge sharing, and collaboration with industry professionals, government agencies, and stakeholders from across Malaysiaโ€™s construction and infrastructure sectors.
