🌿👷Environmental Executive (Contract Position)
📌Job Responsibilities
As an Environmental Executive, you will be responsible for:
* Coordinate and participate in site investigations, site visits, field sampling, environmental monitoring, and other field-related activities, including socio-economic surveys.
* Prepare technical and financial proposals for new and prospective environmental projects.
* Assist the Head of Unit (HOU)/General Manager (GM) in identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities.
* Prepare project financial planning, budgeting, and revenue projections.
* Manage project claims, invoicing, and payment processes with clients and consultants through the preparation of payment documents and related correspondence.
* Coordinate the appointment of consultants, accredited laboratories, and project team members.
* Assist Qualified Persons (QP) and/or Competent Persons (CP) in the preparation of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Environmental Management Plan (EMP), and other environmental assessment reports.
* Prepare environmental reports for various environmental consultancy projects.
* Liaise and communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and relevant government agencies regarding project requirements and technical matters.
* Perform any other duties assigned by the HOU/GM.
🎓Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Environmental Technology, Ecology, Conservation Biology, or other related disciplines.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in environmental consultancy, particularly in EIA and EMP projects.
* Good understanding of Malaysian environmental legislation and regulations, including the Environmental Quality Act 1974.
* Experience in environmental fieldwork, report writing, data analysis software, handheld GPS operation, and preparation of Bills of Quantities (BQ).
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
* Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
* Willing to travel and work in various field conditions.
* Possession of a valid Malaysian driving licence will be an added advantage.
