“What does an organisational psychologist actually do?”
“What does leadership and HR consulting really look like?”

They’re fair questions, especially when most of the work happens quietly, inside decisions, patterns, and pressure that don’t make it onto slides or LinkedIn headlines.

So this carousel is my answer.

2025 was a year of renovation, dust and leadership design, female leadership work finally landing after years of building, archetypes moving from theory into practice, assessment centres, workshops in Singapore, learning from David Rock, long-term partnerships renewed, chapters closed, and moments where life demanded perspective beyond work.

If you’ve ever wondered what this profession really looks like, this was mine, in 2025.

Here’s to leaders who listen, teams that lift, and workplaces where wellbeing isn’t an afterthought, it’s built in.

Some bosses lead.
While some teach you survival tactics you didn’t even know you needed.

Here's a reminder that good leadership is built on trust, respect, and not making your team fantasize about moving to the woods.

Swipe for a (painfully familiar) tour of what not to aspire to be.

Join a meaningful Sunday with likeminded women, join through the link in our bio.

The “good daughter” syndrome isn’t just an emotional burden, it has real consequences. Studies show that Asian women, particularly those from collectivist cultures, report higher rates of depression and anxiety.

This is often linked to unmet personal needs and the pressure to uphold an image of perfection. It’s okay to acknowledge the toll this takes – it’s the first step to breaking free from harmful patterns.

Dexter Mayhew in “One Day” is a complex tapestry woven with privilege, desire for change, and the ever-present shadow of the past.

He embodies the struggle of , constantly trying to outrun a younger version of himself fueled by the metaphorical shackles of . His journey is a raw portrayal of the complexities of overcoming personal demons, showcasing the non-linear nature of transformation, littered with and -doubt.

Yet, amidst the struggle, there’s a flicker of hope. Dexter’s commitment to keep trying, to learn from his mistakes, and to resonates deeply. “One Day” isn’t a fairytale of overcoming addiction, but a realistic portrayal of the human spirit’s enduring battle for growth.

It reminds us that change, while arduous, is possible, and every step forward, no matter how small, is a victory in itself.
