Forensic Services Group

The Forensic Services group of companies began in Malaysia in 1986 to carry out investigations into the causes of accidents throughout Asia. In the ensuing years we have grown to a full time staff of 25 with offices in Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Singapore and Indonesia. All our professionally qualified consultants are engaged full time in the work described; with graduates in chemical engineering,

mechanical engineering, electronic and electrical engineering, metallurgy, chemistry and materials science. Our consultants have appeared as expert witnesses in courts in Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines. We conduct about 300 consultations each year. We have in-house ancillary expertise such as GC/MS analysis of fire site debris, XRF analysis, non-destructive testing and crane repair. We offer a wide range of services, including but not limited to the following areas of technical investigation:

- Machinery breakdown
- Product liability
- Material failures
- Motor vehicle accidents
- Marine/Transit claims
- Nature and extent of damage and restoration
- Theft and break-in

These failure analyses under forensic services are conducted and presented in a rigorous manner, under the assumption that the results may be needed in a court of law.
